The Two Heads Open is a great weekend of competition disc golf for players of all abilities and ages. It’s a coveted tournament, attracting players from all over Australia.
Celebrating its 5th year, the Two Heads Open is especially keen to encourage new players. This is a two day competition played over three rounds of 18 holes.
Poimena Reserve Disc Golf Course
Poimena is regarded as one of the most challenging and most beautiful disc golf courses in Australia. The current and three-time World Champion, Nate Doss (USA), rates Poimena Reserve as one of his favourite course in the world. The course is right up there with the best, characterised by its elevation changes, bush terrain, sloping greens and stunning vistas over the River Derwent and Mount Wellington.
Australian National Tour
Two Heads is the first event of the 2012 Australian Disc Golf National Tour. (see www.Australiandiscgolf.com for more info)
This is singles stroke-play event. All competitors play two rounds of 18 holes on Saturday and one round of 18 on Sunday plus final.
The climax to the tournament is the Mens Open Division Final on Sunday afternoon.
